"Aint No Sunshine" by Bill Withers

So, my tax payment finally showed up on the credit card website. It didn't seem to have broken anything. LOL. The available credit is still the same. Whatevz. Maybe it only gets recalculated when they send out new statements?

I brought my car to the Infiniti place this morning. They estimated about $200 more than Precision Tune, but I think the fact that I have a car to use until mine is fixed is worth it. And I did get a snazzy car! I kept giggling at it as I discovered new cool things about it. Keyless ignition, volume adjustment on the steering wheel, etc. I adjusted the seat and steering wheel when I got in. Then when I got to work and opened the door to get out, the seat and steering wheel automatically went back to make it easier to get out. (It freaked me out a little at first.) I wonder if it'll go back when I get back in the car. LOL. And geez, after wrestling with my car to turn the wheel, this thing turns on a dime!

I appreciate luxury cars like that. I appreciate all the perks and whatnot. But seriously, is it worth it?? I did some price checking, out of curiosity.

A 2009 Infiniti FX35 (which I think is what my loaner car is) is $54K. DUDE. That's halfway to buying a HOUSE. (Okay, maybe like a third or a quarter way, but STILL.)

A 2009 Toyota Avalon (which is snazzier than a Camry) is $28K - $31K.

I mean, a NEW NEW car like that doesn't appeal to me anyway. But I especially don't want to pay 20K for a brand name and some automatic components.

I think it's just society's way of separating the classes. But, eh. What do I know?

I GET TO BE HIGH CLASS UNTIL MY CAR GETS FIXED. LOL.

Then I'll be rather broke again. :(

I think God set hugs and hot baths into existence for a reason. They both relieve stress. (And apparently hot baths aid in circulation! lol)

I hate when Jeremy has to go away. :(
