Happy Birthday, Joel! (Not that he reads this or anything.)
Yesterday was Joel's birthday. And I actually took the day off from work to help him celebrate. (Yes, this shocks even myself.) Originally, he, Aaron, Sara, Tom, and me were going to go to the beach, which thrilled the snot out of me. I LOVE THE BEACH!!! ME ENCANTA LA PLAYA!!! But...there was a stupid storm. Grrrrrr.
Plus, Tom wasn't even there! I dunno what's going on with him, I haven't talked to him in a few days. He hasn't called me, and I can't call him because my long distance isn't working and he has his Greenville phone. :( I hope everything's okay. But it made me sad because Joel's leaving tomorrow. That's one of the reasons I took off from work, because this was gonna be like the last time we could all hang out before Joel goes back to Oklahoma. And our complete posse hasn't hung out together AT ALL this summer. :( This makes me sad. There was supposed to be a lot more hanging.
Anyway, so me, Aaron, and Sara went to Joel's house. We played Extreme Uno, Sorry!, and ordered pizza. After that (while watching Wayne's World 2, Mike Myers is either a genius or a psycho), we went to see The Village. I've heard mixed reviews for that movie, but I liked it! It wasn't as good as I, Robot, but I'd definitely see it again. After the movie, we went back to Joel's and he opened his cards. I felt bad, there was no cake involved. Oh well. Then we played Scategories until Sara had to go. (And BTW, Sara, gas is not a sin, even if it starts with G. lol) After we dropped Sara off, me and Aaron went to Wal-Mart and looked at what movies and music were out. Then we went to his house and we let me borrow50 First Dates (ah! good movie!) and The Matrix: Revolutions. Daddy hasn't seen the 3rd Matrix yet. Then he brought me back home.
And now I'm feeling sad because I haven't heard from Tom and Joel is leaving tomorrow.
