Jelly Beans
I am sitting here, waiting for my dad to pick me up, bored, and hungry. I REALLY want some chicken chow mein for dinner, but the odds of that happening are slim to none. So I'm munching on jelly beans.
I don't really like jelly beans. I sort of loathe them. But I'm hungry and they're jelly belly and little bursts of flavor (even if squishy when chewed) are pretty gratifying.
Ew, but I just ate like a popcorn flavored one. That one was less than pleasant. The next was... I'm not sure, maybe pineapple-ish? It reminded me of my childhood. (I'm not entirely sure why, pineapple is not directly connected to my childhood.)
And next is neon green and... I dunno. Tastes like a chewy sweet-tart. Lime maybe? Apple? Whatever. I'm gonna go now.
