Getting more anxious.
Mainly for my pending recital, which I've been procrastinating my practicing - as usual.
It's August 16th, btw. If anyone cares to come =]
Formal invitations will arrive in the mail... but I need addresses first.
The day my family and I go to Gainesville is exactly one month away. On August 17th, we will drive up there and spend the night in a hotel in order to attempt to beat some of the crazy crowdedness that is Move-In Day, August 18, 9 AM.
I finally convinced my parents to get me my laptop, which I have decided - after many nights of research - will be black Macbook. Still iffy on the upgrade to a 2 GB RAM due to impatience to wait for the shipping. However, it has a 160 GB hard drive, which should suffice. All I really use and PC for is internet, music, and pictures. I'm not a gamer or user of anything else that takes up lots of storage space.
I'm quite fond of the size/portability of the Macbook as well. Also, I like the fact taht there are infinitely times less viruses/spyware that can penetrate the system. Free printer of my choice and iPod nano (which will be given to my dad because I don't need it) is also a big plus (college student deal).
