orange county and la both have beaches. there's north hollywood where the guiness/wax musuems are, 3rd street in santa monica, the la brea tar pits, lacma and moca, see an angels game, go shopping, etc. there's tons of stuff.

which beach? venice beach has a long board walk, but the trends don't start there. actually, basically all of the beaches have boardwalks/piers, so i'm not sure which one you're talking about.
