At first, Grissom had liked the mystery of the hotel. Sure, he wanted to get home, but he also liked spending time with Giselle and - oddly enough - meeting the other captives. But, as the weeks went by, he was starting to really miss not having something to do.
Sure, he could ride the roller coaster, or read the books in the library. But there was no crime scene to process. And he couldn't solve the puzzle with no pieces.
So, after tossing and turning for the better part of an hour, Grissom got up, dressed, and headed down to the bar. Now, here he was, taking his time with a pilsner of whatever was on tap and letting the thoughts and memories swirl in his head.
