Who: Elphaba (and Chistery)
When: Directly after walking out of Ford's room
Where: The rooftop garden
What: Confusion and meditation
The attic. Elphie was going to the attic for that trunk. The one that had tortured her so long ago. Except the stairs didn't lead up to the attic today. Instead she found herself on a garden.
Chistery was delighted. He flew about stopping to look at everything. Elphie looked, nodded and made her way over to the side of the building. She was shaken...
Well, to be fair, she was more shaken by Ford's reaction to her than anything else. The water had been frightening. Fiyero... She had never expected to see him again. But she had woken up. She wasn't dead. And she had woken up in Ford's arms. Which was nice. Safe. Her monkey was back.
And then Ford had to go muck it all up talking about portents of doom and deciding she was too cranky. It was enough to make one livid.
She paced in a fury back and forth along the wall, thinking furiously. Chistery watched her for a while and then amused himself by throwing stones over the edge.
