"It's a house for chickens." She turned to the paper and, below the letters, drew a messy version of a chicken coop, then drew a chicken. "They're farm animals. They lay eggs. And the live in a coop, to stay safe from wild animals." Waving her left hand, Adora shook her head. "But, that's not important. What is important," she smiled, "is that we have paper. And," she held up the orange marker, "whatever this is."

Aeryn smiled. "Paper is good." She smiled and lifted the marker, "at least we can write." She looked around. Then asked, "help lamron words?"

"Lamb-" Adora started, then realized she didn't know what that one was. "We should probably start writing things down," she nodded. Adora moved over to the shelf and picked up a stack of the regular-sized paper, then pulled out the bucket that had all the markers. Moving back to the table, she slid the first piece of paper and winced as she pulled the lid off a green marker.

She wrote a note, best as she could - have borrowed these pencils and paper to 109. ACain - and then reached for the empty cup. Turning it over on top of the paper, Adora made sure the note was in the middle of the table and nodded to the larger page, with the letters. "Will you grab that?" she asked Aeryn. "And maybe some more," she half-asked, nodding to the rack of paper below. "Or will this be enough?"

Aeryn nodded and took the large sheet of paper, giving it an easy fold so it wouldn't tear. She then bent and grabbed more of the paper, figuring she had an entire language to learn, best have as much paper as possible. "ready." She said. "Need, any-thing else?"

Something to hang the paper on the wall, like nails, would be nice. "Maybe some pins," she replied, turning again to look for what she knew as pushpins. What she found wasn't the types of pins she was used to, but shorter, colorful pins. She frowned slightly, skeptical of the odd items, but they seemed to be what she was looking for.

"Paper.. lots of colors," she said, motioning to the bucket of markers, then held up the pins. "And some pins. I think," she quickly added in a whisper. Giving the table another look, Adora shrugged. "I'm not sure what else we would need. Can you think of anything? That might help you to learn? Or.. teach me?"

Aeryn nodded as they raided the room for anything they could find. She really didn;t know what else would be useful. She didn't know beyond the paper what the other things were. She shrugged. "this start?"

Aeryn smirked, "I can teach shoot!" She reached to the pulse pistol that was ever present on her leg.

Adora beamed. "Just that one? Or can you shoot a rifle?"

Aeryn smiled, "I shoot anything." She nodded, "have," she stretched out her arms, "big gun." She shrugged, "on Moya."

Adora laughed - again, such an odd sensation - and shrugged. "I know how to use a rifle. Can't do much, right now, though," she said, holding up her right arm.

Aeryn grinned. "Can fix? .. that." Aeryn took her hands full of items they wanted to bring and walked to the door. "Good?"

"I hope so," Adora sighed. She wanted to have full use of both her hands again. Giving another look to the room, Adora nodded. "I think so. Should we try for some food?" The earlier conversation came back to her and she nodded toward Aeryn's stomach.

"Or should we find you a medic?"

"better speak first." Aeryn said. She wanted to be able to explain to a medic about her pregnancy. And if necessary how to activate it. She'd prefer not to, but, if she had no idea how long the nark had been in stasis already, and without knowing how long she'd be here, she did not want to risk losing the child. Especially if it were John's.

"But, food." She nodded. "yes."

Adora nodded and gave Aeryn a smile. "Food it is, then. And we can work on some words." It would be like teaching Jeb, when he was little. She picked up the box of markers and followed Aeryn and the paper to the door.

Aeryn gave her a smile and followed her out the door with the papers and a box of pins.
