Who: Elphaba and Billy
Where: Chapel
When: After her dancing with Giselle and her discussion with Jack
What: Elphaba talks to Glinda
Elphie had gone to see Owen to ask what he knew about Jack's condition. When the man didn't open his door, she finally broke in. The room was deserted. He was gone. Elphie had spared just enough time to send Jack a quick message on the network before heading to the chapel.
She was long overdue a talk with Glinda. The statue sat in the same little alcove it always had, only this time Saint Aelphaba and the witch Kumbricia were gone. Just Saint Glinda. Elphie kneeled in front of the woman and began talking. She told her about the exorcism and her relationship with Ford. She mentioned the woman Giselle who was very friendly.
"Not that she'd replace you ever as my best friend, but she's really nice. And she can sing." Elphie talked about what had happened to Jack. "And Glinda? I just lost another friend. The Hotel has taken Owen too. He was a doctor."
Elphie continued talking to the statue, and eventually fell silent. She sat in quiet reverence of the women and slowly dropped her head onto the statue's pedestal, dozing.
