They will fight over breakfast, they will fight in the swimming pool.... )
Twisting his hand slightly, to see the numbered key, Grissom looked at the closest door and continued on. Sooner or later, he was sure to run out of numbers.
Just as he reached the door for 309, a sound caught his attention and Grissom turned, aiming the flashlight down the hall and wincing, to see who - or what - was coming.

"Who is that?" he demanded loudly.

Wait, no, that meant nothing to him.
"You need to get back to your room," said Handy, stepping closer. Of course, then it occurred to him that since the hotel was on the attack, their rooms probably weren't safe. "No," he said. "Get outside and get as far away as you can! They're coming."

He gave the man a once-over, then a second. "What happened to you?" he asked, noticing just how wet the man was.

He stepped in closer, urgency written in his stance.

Suspiciously, he asked, "Why would you ask me that?"

Jack hadn't told him not to mention his name if Grissom happened across the man. He didn't really tell him much of anything, of course. Still, Grissom was fairly certain this was the man in question.
"You're... the doctor?" he asked, nodding slightly.

"Don't move," he hissed angrily, taking a step back. "I know what you are!"

And, of course, his field kit was sitting next to the door; the service pistol sitting in the lower compartment.
"Can I ask you a question?" he asked, wishing he had the skill to send a text message or something to that Jack fellow, letting him know his friend had been found. "What is it you think I am?"

His brow furrowed in response to the question, and he paused, confused. "You work for the Master," he said after a moment, sounding just a little unsure. Okay, so he'd been bluffing. He didn't actually know what this man was.

The man seemed to be having some sort of trip, though Grissom couldn't be sure on first glance. It definitely wasn't alcohol-related, that much he knew.
