Who: Daniel Jackson and Ardeth Bay When: After Daniel's network conversation with Ardeth Where: Lobby and Library What: Ardeth and Daniel decide to meet up.
Daniel paused for a second, "I think I read a book by her when I was getting my degree...It was on the heiroglyphs and their translation." He absently adjusted his glasses, "I think it's one of the reasons I could decode the Stargate."
(OOC: If you want I can make it so Daniel remembered the name wrong)
"I think she had written it a few years after becoming the curator at the museum." Daniel followed after Ardeth, "Do you think the hotel will let us find the library on the first try?"
Daniel went to another door and opened it. "I think I found the bar..." He turned to Ardeth, "This place is making less and less sense, these rooms shouldn't fit near each other."
Daniel took his glasses off for a moment and rubbed his eyes. Moving to yet another door and pulled it open. His jaw dropped as he looked into the room before him. Shelf upon shelf of books stared back at it. "I, uh, I think I found it..." he said without turning away from the library.
Daniel walked into the library with almost like it was a church. He walked up to the nearest shelf and looked over the spines facing him. He stood there and absorbed what he was looking at.
"If it weren't for every thing else I've heard about this place, I would be too." Daniel pulled a book off the shelf and looked at it, "Heiroglyphs for Dummies...huh." He slid the book back onto the shelf and walked down a little further. Another one caught his eye and he pulled it off the shelf. A look of confusion crossed his face as he read the title, "Cardassia? Who or what is 'Cardassia'?"
Daniel looked up, "That makes sense, even the Goa'uld have a home world. Though they share it with race called the Unas." He scanned through the book in his hand, "Looks like this is on their general culture..." A thought crossed his mind, "This may sound like an odd question, but do they speak english?"

Daniel found a door and opened it, as he did a series of strane smells wafted out. It was the banquette hall again. "Strike one..."

He walked ahead and opened the next door. "Swimming pool," he said.

He opened another random door.
"Billiards," he declared.

"Wow..." was all he could manage.

"Indeed," he agreed. "My uncle would have been in his own personal heaven had he ever stumbled across this room."
