What: The Doctor returns to the TARDIS and finds that things have changed.

The Doctor wrestled desperately with the controls to his ship, Rose and Jack were still trapped down there, he had to go back for them.

A blinding beam of light suddenly hit him, forcing him to his knees, he covered his ears, trying to block the deafening white noise that surrounded him.

Then suddenly the sound was gone and someone was helping him to his feet. He blinked around him, disorientated, there was something he had to remember, somewhere he had to go back to, he gazed at the woman who was smiling at him. Confused, he shook his head, attempting to clear it, what was it he had been just trying to do?

"Where is this?" He asked, groggily.

"You're in the House, you're a Housemate, isn't that brilliant?" She replied, taking hold of his arm to steady him.

The Doctor stared at her, baffled, he was still convinced that there was another place he had to remember, Jack and Rose, it had to do with them, he was sure.

"Will the Doctor please come to the diary room?" A voice requested over the intercom.

Moving towards an illuminated indicator, he pushed open the door beside it. Rose and Jack were hopefully still on the TARDIS and safe- that was all that mattered to him.

Whatever the other place had been, it faded from his memory, along with the names and faces he had known.

Back in the garage, a battered blue police box reappeared silently, several feet away from the heap of assorted material that had once been attached to it. The door swung slowly open, briefly revealing a pile of sheets and cloth samples, a book and pieces of paper on top of them, then they too faded away and the door slammed shut.

The Doctor was gone.
