Who: Kathryn Janeway and whoever feels like joining her.
Where: Art studio and Library
When: Evening
What: Janeway found the library...and the art studio.
Janeway thought at first it was the sickbay behind the double doors she found on the 3rd floor and that maybe she'd find Julian lurking about. But to her immense surprise, she opened the strange doors and laid eyes on the stacks and stacks of shelves packed with books. On simple reflex, the admiral produced her tricorder from her hip, movements slow with awe as she tried to take in everything in sight.
The tricorder churned as it scanned, emitting it's little chirps. Janeway managed to glance down at the readout, brows lifted in surprise. There was no way this room could exist within the space provided in the hotel. It was clearly two stories high and went on in either direction about her in a maze of shelves.
Janeway walked slowly through the stacks, passing several areas for sitting and lounging tucked among them. The occasional desk. Several medical texts appeared to be discarded on a cart alongside copies of strange occult books she hadn't seen before. The tricorder in her hand kept scanning, at this point seeking out any life signs. But it appeared she had the whole room to herself for the time being.
Until her arm swept back over a door tucked amid the shelves build into the walls. The device flashed an indicator and made a slightly different kind of noise.
Janeway reached out after she was sure there was nothing on the other side of the door and opened it. Before her were stacks of canvases, shelves packed with paint, clay, bits of wood, papers, and all manner of assorted coloring and drawing implements. She entered the room slowly and picked through some of the supplies, turning over a few sheets of parchment and running fingers over a few bottles of neglected ink.
The only thing this room was missing...was a holographic Leonardo da Vinci.
She folded up the tricorder and gathered up what she needed to start a project and settled down at one of the drawing tables to practice calligraphy.
