Castiel had been a little worried about Anna. She had been scarce and, at times, he was concerned she had left or worse but he always ended up seeing her again. He didn't push. He could understand needing space, needing to ration contact when under such stress. Now she had contacted him he couldn't say his stress was less but, all the same, it was good to hear from her. He was glad she invited him to meet her.
Ordering a beer he found a small table close to the bar but some distance from the other patrons. It was peaceful in the bar, quiet and he appreciated that. Dean was more than keeping him busy. Dean, the hotel, the inconvenience of his new humanity, all of it left his little time for thought and, for that, he was grateful. He sipped at his beer and determined to ask Anna of her experience, determined that she would get more of his time.
