Who: Castiel and Owen Harper
When: 8:30 am
Where: The dining room
What: Touching base and getting the all clear

Castiel found the dining room on only his second try today. This was good because he was especially hungry. He skipped his evening meal the night before and so was in a hurry to fill the uncomfortable gap in his stomach. He was grateful for the buffet, the food already laid out for him. Castiel had been exploring his tastes since his first meal. He still liked cheese and ham croissants, didn’t like fruits mixed together but liked them separately. Oatmeal was fine but cocoa puffs were his favourite. Today, though, we was hungry enough to go for oatmeal and a toasted cheese sandwich. He had never had yoghurt before but he decided to try it today.

Carrying his selection over to the table with a glass of milk he settled himself and started with the cereal. He had had no trouble carrying the tray, his left shoulder seemed as strong as the other. He only noticed a difference when he was cold. He would ask Owen about that. He ate slowly after the he took the edge off his hunger. He did not want to finish before Owen arrived.

He had thought a little about the doctor. He had heard little from him since just before the black out and he had, at first, been concerned Owen and Kaylee had been taken along with the others but he had caught the occasional glimpse of them. With his shoulder healing well he didn’t need medical attention but that was not, largely, why he contacted Owen. It was true he needed confirmation his shoulder did not require further attention, he was still a poor judge of his own body, but he also simply wished to see his friend again.
