Who: Rose and Jareth
When: Sunset
Where: Rose & Jareth's hotel rooms
What: When the lights go out, they're concerned for each other first.
Rose actually wasn't very surprised when the lights suddenly went out in her room. After what she'd heard from Jareth about his adventure with the lift, she'd just been waiting for the next round of the hotel playing with them. So when suddenly she was thrown into darkness, she just took a deep breath and waited for her eyes to adjust. The lack of light source in the room meant all she could make out were big dark shapes within the shadows, but there wasn't any light from under the door either, so it really was the entire hotel.
She fumbled around for a moment, sliding her feet along the floor until she found where she'd dropped her boots. She pulled them on, then went in search of her bureau, finding her coat and gloves hanging inside where she'd left them. Without any electricity, the heat would disappear quite quickly. The key to surviving in situations like this (and she'd been in quite a few of them with the Doctor and Torchwood) was to stay calm and think things through. She didn't have a torch in the room, but perhaps she could find one in a closet in the hallway. She'd check, but only after finding Jareth. She had no idea if he'd been through anything like this before, and the idea of leaving him to deal with it alone... No, certainly not.
Gloves and coat in place, she grabbed a scarf from the closet as well and slowly made her way to the door. The hallway was just as dark. She pulled the door shut behind her and tied the scarf around the handle; if she had to come back for something, having the marker would be much better than fumbling around to try finding the right room.
