Castiel was tired. He fell in through the first door he saw, his arm was still held to his body by the sling. He founded walking any distance left him with the need to sit frequently and so he did so here. His eyes were closed. He didn't know what room he was in. He thought he was alone until he opened his eyes.
Dean was most certainly not stalking Castiel. His overwhelming concern for the angel's welfare was not the reason behind him following after the Host. He wasn't concerned. Nope, he was just going in the same direction. That was his defense and he was sticking too it.
The hunter watched the angel turn into a door, which most certainly was not to a hotel bedroom, and didn't think twice about following. He has heading there too, where ever there was.
Dean stepped through the doors and was greeted with a wall of books. He stopped and frowned at it, impressed by the apparent size of the room and the volumes of tomes and literature that filled it. Figures Castiel would be here.
The hunter slipped silently in the angel's wake down a different row of shelves and waited. One Castiel was seated and being quiet, Dean pretended to show interest in anything that was eye level.
Go to sleep you stupid fool before you kill yourself. Dean thought.
But all his hopes were dashed when Castiel called out for Anna.
Anna had been so lost in the moment that she hadn't realized yet that she wasn't alone. Her small fragile hands fingertips brushed against the spines of the books as she walked from shelf to shelf. Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice call out her name, turning to the velvet couch she saw her brother, Castiel.
"Castiel.." she whispered as she looked directly at her brother and than heard familiar foot steps enter the library, she turned to see Dean Winchester. " Dean, I wasn't expecting to see you in here."
Castiel didn't speak at first. He just breathed for a moment. Then he heard Anna address Dean. Dean was in the library? Castiel suspected the hunter had followed him but he wasn't going to challenge him. It was just as possible he was simple doing some kind of research.
"Hello Anna," he said tiredly when she came close. "Dean and I have been planning to leave. We wish for you to accompany us. Do you wish to?" He didn't move from the couch. He did wish to move but all attempts came to nothing. He decided it would do no harm to just sit for a moment.
Dean bit his lip and offered her the most innocent smile he could muster. "Hi Anna." He rounded the wall of shelves and leaned against them facing Castiel.
"Yeah, we're going to try making a break for it." Dean added, watching his angel out of the corner of his eyes. He hoped the fallen seraphim would just fall asleep right there.
Anna was surprised that Castiel was still on speaking terms with her, even though the two fellow fallen angels had been a little cool with each other, the moment they both had found each other again. "Cas, you look exhausted..are you feeling well?," she asked him as she listened to her brother mention that he and Dean we're going to try to escape.
"Hi Dean." She greeted the eldest Winchester brother as she leaned against one of the book shelves. " I think I would like to accompany the both of you, this place does not feel right to me." Anna explained to both men, as she let out a quick yawn.
