This is a cut from amazon I made on phones and what not. I know people's must have had the same problems as I do now, so I don't feel all that bad anymore.
So by unlocked phones you mean the equivalent of buying a phone without a contract or one that is used and has a clean esn number correct? I wanted to know since I am on Verizon as well and got screwed over last year when they told me I had to have a data plan for my Smartphone. It was getting to equal too much mullah, so I switched back to my old phone this month. But I forgot how much I despised it in the first place for the switch. So now I want to purchase another phone just a regular flip one or something, since I cannot stand touch screen phones, they are too annoying.
And to go back on the original post I'm not too sure about that unless you paying them some fee each month. And to expand on your dilemma. What if a person was to replace their phone with a used one off the internet, can they get insurance with that used phone with their carrier?
Yeah I agree completely with you. I want a flip phone that looks nice, without all that special stuff (since I have a computer, a gaming system, a stereo, a map, a video camera, and a picture camera). I just want the availability to send all types of sms and mms, and talk to people without static.
