How your baby's growing:
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord - her lifeline to the placenta - is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
My life: Amazingly, I haven't been sick since April 23. That's like, two weeks now! I've had a few queasy days, but it boggles my mind that I'm suddenly better. And I know now's when normal women get better, but neither of my prior pregnancies has been normal! Besides NOT being sick, I'm feeling kinda huge already and I think I feel the baby moving! Squee!
In other news, I have an OB appointment and ultrasound on Monday - so if you want to start lobbing guesses as to the gender, be my guest!
