That does seem kind of salty, in retrospect, but seriously. There's like a thousand different moods to pick from!! "Chipper?!" I pray that if I ever feel the need to express my mood as "chipper," it's because I'm undercover in a gay yuppie commune, or because I'm being taken out "Fargo" style.
And why do blog services offer the "current mood" thing, anyway? What is it, like a psychological barometer by which one can gauge the manner in which one should receive the information one takes in by reading the blog? Would it be too much of a news flash to suggest that just by reading what was posted, one might get an idea of the poster's mood? Am I ranting? Yes.
