Well, telling Jack and Ianto had gone well. Actually, far better than she'd expected if she was going to be perfectly honest. Once she was certain she'd finally gotten her legs back under her and that she wasn't going to be sick on the way down, she made her way to the National Assembly building.
...And spent five minutes standing outside her brother's office door. She shouldn't be spooked, it was Wales. The brother that was forever calm, the one that was always there. (The one that some thought might have a touch of Stockholm Syndrome, if all things were honest.) The one that never thought any less of her.
...The one with the dragon. Always the quiet ones, they said. And that certainly held true for Wales. Well, he'd never directed that temper towards her and it would be stupid to think he'd start now. So she pasted on a smile that she knew he would see through instantly because he always did, and opened the door. "Deartháir mór?"
