Just ate dinner with Adam and realized how different we are when it comes to food. It isn't usually as evident with most things but tonight we both had steaks- his well done and mine rare/barely medium. He loads things up with garlic and italian seasonings and I got for sea salt and cajun spices. He was looking at my plate fulla blood and told me I ( Read more... )

thats so cool about the fireworks. :) thats gonna be a memory you'll have forever i'm sure.

a lot of my friends back then were into a lot more than just pot. and were havin babies and such. i always knew i wanted to try pot just once, but i grew to like it. plus it doesnt leave you feeling shitty after. but i also knew i wanted to wait to try anything. i had too much shit going on in high school to be concerned with any vices other than cigarettes.

bleaching the dread didnt work to well. i've been dying my hair with henna for about 5 years now, so there is a lot of build up and its almost impossible to bleach out henna. so it came out a coppery orange color. but i dont mind it too much. i was just re bleaching my roots to my bangs and had left over mixed up bleach so i just tried it to see how it did. i would love one day to have blonde dreads. i think i'd really like it, they are so beautiful to me. but the henna will have to grow out or get stripped before i can bleach it.

i would love to see your baby dreads! you havent posted any face shots lately. and you have such a pretty face and smile. :)

Oh no! I've heard that henna pretty much needs stripped out or grown out and that's about it, otherwise I'd have tried it out myself. I'm way too fickle to commit to something like that though, I went through so many hair colors so fast for a while that henna would just be a giant mistake. I like the thought of a coppery color though! That's such a fun shade, any pictures? I think it would be really cute to have a head full of penny colored dreads!

I would take a picture of my baby dreads (since I've stopped messing with the roots they're locking up so well!) but uh.. well.. this isn't really funny but here's what happened and I had to laugh- I took my camera outside to take a picture of the chalk my sister did on the sidewalk with Ollie. We were heading to the grocery store so we went to the car and I set the camera and my bag on top of the car and helped Ollie into his carseat.

Apparently I grabbed my purse and..didn't take the camera. So it got caught on the dohicky on top of his Aveo and when we turned onto a busy street it flew off. I found out because someone found it, checked the memory card, saw a picture from my mum's EMT graduation and saw her name on her certificate, and facebook messaged her asking if it was her camera. Omg. So uh... apparently my camera is trashed but this dude is totally willing to hunt me down and give me back my card and camera, which rules.

In the meantime though.. no camera. Adam's is around somewhere but we lost it because we're irresponsible and not really adults sometimes.

And aww, thanks! I need to take some pictures sometime soon so I'll dig around the mess that is Adam's desk and hunt down his camera. But thanks for the compliment! I feel like dreads suit me so much better than brushable hair, it feels so much more like me.
