Well, this is going to be a blunt question, but I'm curious.
Who here has committed a crime? Any kind of crime at all, it doesn't matter if you were arrested/punished/even caught, I'd just like to know. I don't really care how insane the laws of the state you committed it against were, I'm just curious.
I really don't want this new bit of technomancy, either. I won't use it.

Does any one ever wonder what the Wardens write to each other about? I don't mean in a personal sense, but in a general sense.
From my observation, there's a lot of things that go on here without going mentioned in great detail where we can see it. Which either means they're incredibly disorganised (more than originally thought, anyway), or they're talking a lot behind the scenes.
It's curious. Have you ever wondered just how much they talk about you to other wardens?
Hm.

Still smug, or can I come talk to you without having to deal with your insufferable sense of self-satisfaction?
[Private to self]
John Keel. Sam Vimes is John Keel. John Keel is Sam Vimes. A murderer is running the Watch in my future. A skinny boy who followed at the heels of a murderer was bad enough. That murderer is...
And to think, I was starting to think that Vetinari man might have been doing a decent job.
Why do I even care? I'm dead. It's not my city any more. If they're stupid enough to want a murderer, they can have one and the confusion he brings.
except it's always my city. Always. I at least believed I was dying in defence of it. It's my city. It matters.
