Well since it's officially not my birthday anymore, I'll recap the day as best I can. It was AWESOME. I won't be kidding anyone, especially since I always like to be, "oh look how sad i am, everything sucks" Anyways.
At approximately 12:34, I headed out on foot for my first birthday meal at the South Street diner. An oversalted quesadilla and a couple glasses of water and some cute waitresses made it a very nice first birthday meal. Then I walked home, sat by the reflecting pool and.... umm... reflected for a while, before coming home, watching a bit of a pirated copy of Stealing Harvard on DVD and falling asleep.
Got up at like 9:48 to get dressed and out the do' to have some free breakfast/lunch with Dracula at glorious Stetson East. Then I came home, checked my voicemail [my BROTHER called me! the long lost Minnesota one, isn't that fucking wonderful?!?] pretended to do work for a bit, then slept the rest of the time away. Then I headed out to buy pizza and snacks and beverages for the crowd, and returned home for a little Boston Public.
And then... around 9 o clock in the p.m., my first three guests arrive, my gayboy friend Nick, and his friend Jeff and this girl, I think her name was Colleen. Anyways, they came in, brought me a card with bird species on the front, we listened to some Pink. Then arrived Dracula, with her big bottle of rum (YES!!!), then Kat, then Quinn. We all sat about, playing with Pablo, having discussions, as Kat ate the pizza and Quinn enjoyed the Fresca, despite her being really really sick, she made the venture out to the part, because she's hardcore. And she's cool. So after a while, Erin arrived, we all had cake, and sat about having wonderful banter about diseases and PAX shows and Axl Rose.
Then they all departed for their respective homesteads, I cleaned up, sat down to listen to the mix my old roommate made me, and it's like HELLO freshman year!! It's amazing.
So it was a good birthday. Thank you to all those involved. I'm really really fucking blessed with the friends I've got. I love you guys. Times a bajillion. Alright, it's go to bed time.
