That's it. My undergraduate collegiate career has come to a close. I finished my finals, got 2 A's and 2 B+'s as my cumulative grades. I'm mighty proud. I walked at the Douglass graduation commencement, and had some yummy maggiano's dinner party with my family after.
This past week has been over shadowed with a lot of exhausting endeavors. Hopefully that's past, they were, and can be, quite unsettling.
I got work today. I want to stay home and organize things. Like figuring what books I'm going to keep, and which ones to sell, and when selling them back would be best.
I lucked out, I snagged the Newark museum internship for the summer, so it was a good defense when people ask what my plans are after graduation. It's summer duration also gives me time to plan my next move. I still have a job (Rutgers Bookstore) with flexible hours, which is essential to making this unpaid internship work. So I'm working in my desired atmosphere, and still making money, just achieving this through 2 different outlets.
And I believe I will apply to the MoMa's internship for the Fall...I didn't complete my last application in time, and this one is to be mailed by Friday...I think I can still use my essays...and I might need another professor recommendation.
I'm making a list of "to-do's" for this summer. it includes everything I had no time for during school.
It feels good to not have such impending pressure of deadlines.
