While Hiding in the ocean

In the early morning when the sun begins to rise
I lose my mind in oceans unknown
Ideas floating by on fantasy creatures
And there is an empty place where my heart was grown

Writing on the water, smooth movements on the hand
Admiring how my thoughts can disappear
Falling away into the everlasting blue
Alone, hoping the fog will never clear

My heart is gone and it amazes me
That it doesn’t hurt not to feel
My eyes are closed and I exhale
The ocean is still

Yet the ocean is still unknown
It hides in my head
Letting me float aimlessly
Every morning, lying in my bed.
