Wonderful Kevin Tibbs brought to my attention that I did not provide very good detail with my last post. I am having orthoscopic surgery this coming Tuesday at Duke Medical Center in Durham. It's on my bum hip from the car accident that Rhett, Bekah and I were in last year. I have a labral tear in my hip socket, coupled with a bruised and fractured femeral head. Anyhow, they are going in and are either going to reattach the tear or are going to just take it out completely. I have also aquired a large bone growth on the side of my femur somewhere along the way. I guess it's consistant with a labral tear, but they have to go in and scrape that off my bone now too. That's what's happening with me. Better detail Tibbsy? Are you satisfied? :)
Oh! And my husband was supposed to be in the field the 27th- the 9th, but they are letting him off at least part of the time to be with me. He'll have to leave me for part of it, but at least I get him for a little while.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! I've been up since 4:30 baking pies and doing homework. Even though we won't be with family, this is going to be a good thanksgiving. We have made some very dear friends here. And there will be one new addition to the table: little Kara Morgan. She is precious. I got to hold her when she was just an hour old. I love double chinned babies!
