The pop scene is a vast landscape, there is no said shelve life to when a pop band forms, disbands and reforms - that's the beauty of the pop soundscape.
So with that, the original Sugababes line up have been reincarnated in the form of MutyaKeishaSiobhan or MKS and they have graced us with their Dev Haynes produced first single Flatline.
This almost sounds like a long awaited second album from the amazingly laconic debut, One Touch. The harmonies that met our earbuds all them years back certainly sounds familiar and oh-so comforting. Oozing with heartache and perfect arrangements to make a perfect slice of a pop indie track.
The treatment though for the video is an interesting one - I don't fancy it that much, I had kind of envisioned it to be more elaborate then that, but it still works out.
I have high hopes for their reunion, it is good to see Siobhan Donaghy back on the music making saddle, more so than the other girls.
Let us see how this pans out.
