Seriously. Being caucasian sucks, especially for this half of the year.
I am soooo burnt from baseball this weekend. And I miss winter. I wanna move to Iqaluit.
Yesterday the library's server went down, and so my job became relatively obsolete as I had no one to help and nothing to monitor. And so one of the older, more senile librarians took it upon herself to make sure I had plenty of the crap she didn't want to finish to do. I did Circ stuff (my old job) for the last hour, and when I finished my truck at 20 minutes to close, did she let me go clean up reference? Oh, nooooo. She told me to start on the next truck.
There are twenty. freaking minutes. left in the shift.
Gah.
Anyway.
I ended up channelling the negative energy into shelving really frickin' fast: one row in 15 minutes. For those of you who aren't aware, one truck (3 rows) usually takes over an hour to shelve. Brett called me a tank. Damn right.
Anyway, after that, Teibs gave me a ride home and I went to Cait's for a sleepover (always fun) :). We watched Rammstein and roasted marshmallows. Like best friends should. :D
Tonight shall be spent catching up on stuff (holy chem labs, Batman), writing an outline for a French essay on Sudanese genocide, and going to X-Men III with my fabulous friends. :)
