I'm in Edinburgh right now, looking out the window of Hannah's brother's room on to the Meadows and the castle. it's been 19 months since I was here last, but the only thing that seems to have changed is that none of us wear school uniforms anymore

one of the things that always struck me as odd about the school i went to was that the sixth form could pretty much stay up as late as they wanted, barring making excessive noise or otherwise housewrecking. no housemaster or anything came around, and most of the teachers who stayed during prep just wanted to get out as soon as possible after line.

ah... the late night hauntings of giggleswick! good times, indeed.
