Duel Fantasy GX (Fanmade game)

So browsing around Nicovideo, I found that someone is doing a fanmade game based of Final Fantasy using GX characters!!

Love this game!

They look the same because they are both made in RPG Maker VX. Yugioh DM ~ Doomsday ~ (a rpg based on the original series) uses the same engine too.

The author has also released a playable download for the first chapter of the game on their blog (right up to leaving Hizarumu, just before meeting the Tenjoin/Rhodes siblings.)

It's soo very spiritshipping (Judai/Jaden x Johan/Jesse) but it's also turning out to be quite good. The plot seems to have something to do with GX's '12 Dimensions' plot from the end of the Yubel arc, and it seems that 5Ds and original series characters will play a part later on.

Maybe I should ask the author if I can translate it into English?

Not much of a GX person, but thirding this nonetheless. Fandom needs more doujin games in English.

That would be so awesome, especially if the game is about the Twelve Dimensions! They're so rarely explored in GX-related fanworks that anything would be a very welcome addition. ^^
