Groundhog is doing pretty good - I gave her a carrot and rolled her over on her back while she was eating it, and managed to pull off the rest of the ticks still attached (she's acting very similar to previous groundhog I had, not particularly worried about me, kind of loopy. Still very cautious of the chompy end, though). I'd forgotten how ridiculous groundhogs are :P
With the raccoons, yeah, it's on all four feet and both ears, same pattern on both babies, which seems more like a systemic infection thing and hopefully the antibiotics have kicked it. They did do a skin scraping at the vet to check for mange and didn't see anything, but I'm also treating them with ivermectin as a precaution. This was the last day for the antibiotics, and the fur's all gone from their feet and ear margins, but skin underneath looks pretty good. It's maybe spread up the legs more? Or areas that were just less affected and are now a little flaky but not loosing hair completely? Fingers crossed!
Garage door repair guy was a big geek, too, so we had a fun talk about Pokemon and Comic Con, and I learned a lot about garage door workings :)
