Protectobot Snippets #2
Mmmm, yummy - it's a lovely, rumbly, thunderstormy night. Being a little crazed and caffeinated at work today, this is the song we were singing (for the record, I don't condone gratuitous worm-smushing, although I do dismember them for turtle food on a regular basis.):

The poor wormies though! ...But now I have that song-thing stuck in my head to the tune of 'walking on sunshine' which means not only is it stuck in headspace but it is stuck in headspace.
Protectobots! *points points!* looksie! Protectobots!
And the speech! XD Optimus, you are awesome like an awesome awesome thing. (Double 'awesomes' intentional ^^ )
Okay, okay, all the squeeing wants to come out a once so I'd better try and do these in order or this is going to be pretty much incomprehensible.
1.)adorable! And their little nosies and their little footsies and their little little-ness...And Optimus. XD It was awesome.
2.) Awww, Sideswipe. You're such a sweetie when you're not, y'know, dropping buckets of paint on the heads of unsuspecting mechs.
And 'Aid! First Aid, you need snuggles. Now. Get over to your brothers and demand hugs, young man. Go. *stern mother-hen glare*
But, seriously, this kind of had me smiling hugely at the beginning and then by the end my smile had kind of died to a little, sad half-amile-but-not-a-smile kind of thing. Poor 'Aid, really, but it's a good thing he's past that now, hopefully? *hugs him and you!* I'm not entirely sure I want to know what happened, because...wow. This does a great job of giving the impression that it'll make me cry. (And possibly go after a bat to knock the offender upside the head, but also cry.)
3.) "You interrupted my speeeeech!" *KABOOM!* (quote from Starscream of the Transformers Animated awesomeness.) But Optimus! I seriously love that speech from him. It's so...Optimus. And the expansion was good! It was very, very, very good, I think. Poor Silverbolt XD Awesome little brothers. That has to be a little upsetting to hear, that these younger 'bots are such perfect examples of hard workers and amazing while his team is pretty much a headache.
This had made me empathizing with Silverbolt like whoa. I know how, even if you love your 'siblings' to death and completely agree with the praise thier getting, hearing it and then how you and yours are pretty much the exact opposite can rankle. *eyes own little sister* Yeah, Silverbolt, I completely get you there.
But Optimus handled it marvelously ^_^
4.) 0.0 Meep! What happened? The bonds broke? Where's this one going that he can't take the others!?
This was so...sad. And it kind of hurt, actually. Really, truly hurt with my throat constricting and my heart feeling like someone was squeezing it. There's a sense of horror at what comes after even as it's sort of being accepted but that doesn't make it anly less sad and...
*whimpers*
5.) Aww, Hot Spot. You think Aid's hurt and I bet you're missing half your body, aren't you? Hot Spot's all-too-calm voice kind of makes me giggle, just because I'm trying to imagine the situation.
I kind of want to know what happened, though. Eep, it must have been bad. Really, really bad.
And...someday I will learn how to leave short, concise responses that don't take up tons of space and your time. Really.

1) Lookee at all the kyoot little peeeple! Squeeeee!
2) Yeah, Sideswipe is being quite the sweetie here. The party was all his idea, sort of in apology for not noticing First Aid for a long time and then accidentally almost killing him (totally not his fault, but he still feels bad). And Aid’s over the drug/high grade thing - it wasn’t for very long and he wouldn’t have let it endanger patients in any case, but yes, hugs, definitely in order! (only he can’t go to his brothers, ‘cause this is after he “lost” them. That’s what’s going on in #4 too ;_;)
3) Poor ‘Bolt - he loves them all to pieces, but getting compared to the ‘perfect’ younger siblings does get old pretty fast. Of course, it helps that Hot Spot thinks Silverbolt is awesomesauce, and indeed Optimus is awesome squared, yes he is <333333 (and, don’t tell your sister, but I think you’re by far the more interesting and amazing one :P)
4) Meep! *big hug* sorry about all the sad! This one was tough to write for me, too - it’s First Aid trying to cope with living without his brothers (he thinks they're dead), having one of those “at one with the universe” moments and doing what he must to carry on.
5) Yep, more awful things happen! I’ll tell you if you really wanna know…>_> (I'm not sure I want to know.)
Oh no, sorry about the worm song now stuck in your headspace - I can try to come up with some new annoying ones if you get tired of that one though!
