Not mine of course.
The only 'babies' in my life are those of the four legged kind, and those that we like, but reside with their folks.
So today there are two babyshowers for work friends, one of which I am going to. The other is someone I don't know well/wasn't invited to/that's fine.
One of our teachers' wives just had her baby and there are three more in our work community due in the coming weeks.
I have made baby blankets for the two that I am closest to. Yay for fun handcrafty work -- I find it terribly relaxing.
Melissa (Cathy's daughter who is two years younger than me) is also pregnant, so I have another one to make soon. She'll pick her color scheme in the next few weeks.
In the meantime I'm using scrap yarn to make a crazy quilt (or two). I was surprised at how much yarn i still have. And a lot of it is pastel-y stuff from baby blankets past.
Took a Zumba class at the gym this morning, wow I had forgotten what 'aerobic' meant. It was fun just the same and I'll go between that and water aerobics for my classes at the gym.
I think while it's nice out I'm going to try walking the 'double dip' at school (a 5k trail course if you walk it twice). I can always do the treadmill at the gym.
I'm still convinced that the ellipticl and cybex machines are torture devices translated from olden times.
Off to prep for baby shower goodness.
