Tsuna: You're still you with or without a name. It's kinda like if you took the label off a jar of jam.....just cuz it doesn't have a label that says strawberry doesn't mean it isn't strawberry anymore.
Yami: ...
Tsuna: I'm me and you're you and that's all that matters, right? We're here talking to each other...and the more we do that, I'll know who you are, even without a name. You're not a name, you're you.
Yami: Yes, but are you you if you don't remember?
Tsuna: I think so! I mean, just because you don't remember doesn't mean ya won't make the same choices. Maman told me that everyone has this thing called a soul. Even if your brain don't remember, your heart will, and your soul is still the same! The experiences you don't remember are just like fine tuning to your personality! You're rough without them, but you're still you, and you'll get back to that place after a little bit of time.

That kinda is why Yami is awesome ON HIS OWN, really, because all he has to do is EXIST AND ALL THIS AWESOME STUFF JUST HAPPENS AROUND HIM. I think, conceptually, he's so fascinating that EVEN BABY!TSUNA COULD HAVE A DISCUSSION LIKE THAT WITH HIM.
