The worst phone call anyone can get
Just to let everyone know since it will hit the new soon, there was an incident at my sister's group home.
Jessica is fine and safe!!!!!!!!
An employee at Quest was arrested today on charges of kidnapping and sexual assault of a handicapped individual. It was done on his personal time and wasn't anyone from Quest (Thank you God!!!!). When the group home found out they immediately put the employee on permanent leave and went about contacting families, since the news media was there before they found out. All employees must go through an extensive screening process and they don't know how he made it through the cracks.
This is something that is always a threat but we never really thought about it cause it is something that will drive you crazy to think about. Also, Quest is such a wonderful place that it wasn't really an issue.
