A lovely evening
Today was one of those lovely nights.
I biked home from work quickly and in gorgeous weather. The cats greeted me and we lazed about for a while on the bed while I browsed the internet.
Dinner was tasty and made of orzo, lentils, spinach, goat cheese, apricot, pecans, oil, and vinegar. I was in the mood for ice cream, but also wanted to go outside. So I wandered down to the Rita's where I got Strawberry Margarita water ice and ate it slowly while wandering around Fells Point. People were out at the bars and boats were out in the harbor. There was a breeze. The light fell just so.
On the way home, I walked along the water and bought a new bottle (though I suppose the appropriate term here is "jug") of Sangria which I am now drinking using frozen fruit as ice cubes.
On nights like this... I wonder if it would be so horrible to have to stay in Baltimore...
