I almost never remember my dreams. It is thus surprising that I can recall at least four dreams within the last year (maybe within the last 6 months?) involving losing my teeth.
The first time was the night after I had a long discussion with someone and later worried that I came off as being too childish. In the dream, my teeth became loose and wiggly before coming out (just like losing baby teeth). I remember the taste of blood and the wiggly feeling of each tooth in my mouth during the course of the dream until it was clear that at least six of them had come out.
In the next dream, the teeth broke into bits. I'd be eating something, bite down too hard, and all of a sudden, one of the molars would cracked into about four pieces which would then fall out.
In the third dream, the teeth were being grown through and then falling out (as often happens with baby teeth when they refuse to fall out at first).
The fourth dream, two nights ago, was a repeat of the biting and teeth cracking into pieces dream.
I've never put much stock in dream interpretation, but have to wonder about this. It's rare for me to remember even one dream, so the fact that I remember at least four which have a similar motif is eerie.
