As you can guess im not used to writing down my day to day events within the medium of a Journal. But i plan to change that as of today. I've promised myself that i will post at least one item a week from now on...
I love movies, ond and new, always have and always will. Last weekend i went with my lovely friend to see the new Johnny Depp film Sweeny Todd. Oh boy is this a great movie, with a great soundtrack that i WILL be getting when i hits the shops over here. It was a blast from the past filmed in the style of the old musical greats like the Sound of Music and Hants Cristian Anderson. If you have not seen this movie, you shold. just be warned that it music starts before the images with a resonding orchestrial clash that really makes you jump...
I work in a kitchen of a insurance firm. Its a great place to work with some real characters... Yesterday i met one of the managers who it turns out knows the owner of Harrods. I asked him what he was like and he wrickled his nose and said with venom "hes a dirty little arms dealer, whos made his money off the back of others". Wow, i was not expecting such a strong reaction... anyway i changed the subject fairly quickly and parted company in a better mood.
One of the things that impreses me in the "Furry" community is the shear level of creative people that it attracts. I, with some regret, do not have a permanant medium in to which to pour any creative juices. What i do to be creative is plan and run Role-playing games for my friends. Now a quick note, when i mean roleplay im not speaking about the kind that seems to be going around of a mature nature more the Dungens & Dragons kind. What was thinking of doing is posting up here some of the ideas I've been having about and gaming world inhabited by a number of Anthropoloymorphic races... Maybe i can run a game of it if i ever get to a convention in the US.... and I wonder if anyone would be intrested, never run a game for an american group, but i do love a challenge...
