We currently have a very active and friendly cast and very active and caring mods who understand real life happens, because we have lives, too. Right now we just kicked off our metaplot. Someone attempted to kill Prince Draco, and the reason is based on a deep dark secret of the royal family. We have several other sub-plots coming as well, including a fight over gay marriage, a mysterious wave of murders, and the upcoming marriage of Prince Draco.
One of our biggest selling points is we have twice weekly in-game editions of the Daily Prophet. In true Brit fashion, it covers everything from current events (which can be tied into real events from 2003), sports (We had a recent potions doping scandal) and gossip. Rita Skeeter is the bane of the game and she secretly enjoys tormenting every quidditch star, noble and other notable wizard and witch by splattering their secrets (or just lies about them) in the paper.
