That would be the sound of your roommate eating out of a family-sized bag of chips while lying on his bed with a girly magazine. Said chips have a vague flavor name like "Hawaiian Fun" or something. Goodness only knows what's actually in it, since potatoes are not mentioned once on the packaging.
