as the old antage goes: you can lead a girl to water, but you should drown her in a lake.

which leads me to my next point.

Now mostly games have been getting scarce again but there are a few I thought were worth keeping an eye out for.

I'm not bothering including some of the more obvious and widely talked about. I'm sure you've heard of the bigger titles and you dont need to hear about them again. Also if i missed any throw em in a comment. I dont want to miss out on good games either.

for the DS:
final fantasy III - never released in the US this rpg isnt just getting ported over, it's being remade in full 3D there are a few screen shots on gamespot. check them out.

Children of Mana - This is as far as i'm concerned another secret of mana. it supports up to 4 players. Anyways it's a secret of mana game. what have you got to lose?

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin - I dont know a whole lot about this title except that it puts you in control of 2 characters. As far as i can tell you can switch between the 2 on the fly using both unique abilities to solve puzzles. I'm not worried about this title, I'm sure i'll get it.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - totally awesome, there are screen shots and videos for it on gamespot. it sports the cell shaded animation from windwaker but it sports the overhead view like older zelda games. it's still very much 3d... you know what, you check it out. you'll understand then.

Scurge: Hive - I cant tell you why this game looks interesting to me. I guess cause it reminds me of boktai or maybe cause it has some sort of old school feel to it. I dont know, give it a look see and decide for yourself.

playstation and xbox games are dying down. a lot of that is because of the new systems coming out. The ps3 is rumored to drop at around 500 dollars roughly and i think that's just the basic package. hopefully they'll wise up and drop the price. they seem to do that a lot.

xbox 360 is at the moment very overpriced for the poor library of games that are out for it. there are only a few games that are coming out that ineterest me for it one being halo 3. most of the other games have about an 80% chance of being ports from playstation and another 80% chance of being ported to playstation.

the revolution is dead. long live the Nintendo Wii? the name has been changed. wether that's official or not who knows. it's a shame because the name revolution was catchy and seemed to make sense. Wii... well whatever. this isnt something new though. if you think back nintendo had codenamed the gamecube the dolphin. so i dont doubt that we may be seing the new name. It is backwards compatible and supposedly will allow users to download older nintendo games from the nes all the way up to the 64 as well as sega genesis games and even turbo grafix games. the price is guestimated around 200.

that's that in a jimmy hat. we're done here. i'll think about calling you for another date.
