Leaving the Crib
Hello to all.
Just got back from Emory with el papa, and mike and his mama... AMAZING school... but unless you want me to talk to you about it... I'm not gonna do it here... Well, I just went through about 2 dozen or so LJ entries... have any of of you done ANYTHING interesting with yourselves? Invented a new ice cream flavor? Discovered a cure for cancer? Left your house? Well... enough about you... back to me...
I love how winter is ending... but my allergies are already starting to act up... and it aign't pretty. I think I'm going to have to start wearing a mask to school... or at least goggles.
One thing about visiting Emory today... I am now home, I have school tomorrow, same everything... I am REALLY starting to look foward to college... Yes... I know, I know... SATs, grades, blah blah blah... every college I've visited so far has been awesome... EVEN OGLETHORPE! I am ready for the college life, I am ready for the independence, I am ready for a change! Yes, I do love my family and the fact that I am a mama's boy (and NO I am NOT putting that on my senior jersey!)... but I don't feel like I fit into my life anymore... I am ready to be a college student and move on. I have grown out of my skin... oh wait! Heres a better metaphor! I am a plant and I have grown out of my pot and I need a new one! A bigger one! (A more diverse one too... although I do love jews). Well... since I am still here and am not going to college tomorrow... I have to go get some work done. Word to your mother and such and such...
