Dream Job

Hello to all. Really good day from start to finsh.
Woke up and got some work done. My English essay is turning out really well… but we’ll see. My mom drove us to the airport and we met up with all the seniors. So many mixed emotions. I was so happy for them. I tried to imagine what was going through their heads. I got to speak to almost all of them and it was just so much fun. Wow… those were some poorly written sentences… Said goodbye and then I was amazed to see the parent’s reactions. It was so interesting to be on the parent’s side and see how they were responding to their kids leaving for the next 14 weeks! I will really take that into consideration next year… it seemed so much harder for the parents. We left after many parents continued to remind me, “Your next,” and “Aren’t you a little early?” Got some lunch and then headed home.

Got some more work done and then had to go take an SAT diag… REALLY HARD one… hopefully the real SATs won’t be like that. It ended much earlier than a class would and got home around 9:30. Was welcomed by my mom’s “Sex in the City(/ Basement) Party.” Watched ESPN Dream Job… what an amazing show! I do like ‘American Idol,” but it pales in comparison to this show. Like the millions of other people… I could really see myself going into sport broadcasting… but watching the show tonight I see how hard it would be. The people who tried out tonight really did a good job though. Now I got to go do the math homework… oh math.

High of the Day: ESPN Dream Job
Low of the Day: SAT Diag

Hero of the day: The parents who had to say goodbye to their kids today (for a LONG time)… most likely a lot of those kids will never really live with their parents again (except for summer). They go to college and then get a job and so on... freaky?

Quote of the day: Mike Hall (On ESPN dream job), “That trophy is WAY too big for anything relating to bowling.”
- Woman on the show, “Cause as the commercial for Cialis tells us… anything that comes in four is not good and you should consult your docter.”
- Asian/ Jewish Guy on the show, “They guy has a serious case of the runs…”
