Damn Umpires
It's becoming our story now, we have the lead in a game, we try to come back in the 9th, and somehow we end up losing! We must be cursed. How come we so tortured? Tonight we are leading 5-1, then it's tied 5-5 and soon it becomes 5-7. I cant remember if it was the tieing run or the winning ran that scored for the other team when the bases were loaded and the count was 3 balls and 2 strikes and our pitcher threw a perfect strike and the umpire said it was a ball and a run walked home! It was clearly a strike! Our catcher Martinez who is usually calm started asking the umpire how that could be a ball and then he was thrown out so then he gave him the what for. He shouldnt have been thrown out, he wasnt all up in his face until after. And of course we start something in the 9th and score one run but cant get anymore and we lose 6-7.
