I figured I would get that, based on my experience in LA. When I went on the mission trip the first time, no one at the church could figure out where I was from, partially because I was masking it and shifting dialects. I even has some of the people on my team thinking I was from there areas, by mimicking their accents. But even after I stopped doing that, they couldn't figure out what nor where my accent was from.

A guy I played tennis with thought I was from around Kansas, too. I think it was all of the voices and impersonations that I do, kind of drowned out the accent, though, we all know I have one, since it comes out every once in a while. :D
