so, it's thursday and it's been quite the ambitiuos school week. i have been quite busy; i get to school by 9a and dont leave until at least 9p. I suppose that i spent that amount of time doing schoolwork on my avereage schoolday last semester, however it wasnt all for one series of classes nonstop. class starts @ 9:30-3:00p then i do homework the rest of the time. It's kinda an exciting class, actually. We've been doing a crash course on america's railroad network, history, basic design, routing, ecconomics, and energy conservation.
Living at the guy's house has been pretty cool as well. I've gotten to know a number of them a bit better, and it's interesting to get to understand their personalties and quirks that i'd noticed throughout the year; why it is they act as they do as individuals. Each is very independant and has a passion or four they absolutely obsess over outside school hours. I'm impressed by how intelligent most all of them are; each one i've gotten to know this week is knowledgable in many fields other than his major. Many scored high end ACT's (30's). They definately invalidate any generalizations one may have about christians being weak-minded simpletons blindly following dogma without a moment's critical thought.
