Lots of talent in my CCS class

Aug 12, 2009 10:31

I met many fine and talented people during my time at the Center for Cartoon Studies. Unfortunately, we didn't have a lot of time to socialize. I also didn't get to really meet several people, since they broke the 32 students into two, 16-person groups, and we didn't get much time to interact.

But now that classes are over, I can look everybody up on the Interweb and share a few of their sites with you!

Cindy Arias - A great cartoonist. Check out her "Tiger, Tiger" comic

Kurt Stoskopf doesn't have many comics on his site yet, but he's incredibly talented. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

Meredith Dixon Randazzo draws a fun webcomic about fencing.

Kyle Warren has a great work ethic and draws faster than humanly possible. Great stuff.

The comics on Elvis Bakaitis's site don't show off her real talent - yet. She produced some really cool work last week. I must see more.

Adriana Yugovich sat behind me and made me jealous all through class. Check out "Gustavo the International Rock Sensation."

Joyce Fetteroll sat quietly through the whole class, then showed off some amazing manga-style pages. Wow.

Carl Mefferd is going to be a huge talent. You heard it here first.

Wow, only eight sites out of 31 other students. The rest of you had better hurry up and put some work online!

Speaking of which, I have relaunched my webcomic. It'll publish twice a week through the rest of this month, at least. I hope you'll check it out!
