This weekend, I had promised to go dress shopping with Kelly and Kendra for Kelly's wedding. But Tyler was coming in and he wanted to see me. Dilemnas, dilemnas. He was upset that I couldn't stay home with him, but I gave him the slight consolation of dining at "our" restaurant, Tequilas, for lunch. I think he was still a bit miffed. Pobre sieto. It is sad though, this was one of the last weekends before I leave that I could have saw him. I'm going to try and find some time to see him before I do leave...he got cheated.
Back to Kelly's wedding and dress shopping. I met Kendra and Kelly at David's Bridal in Champaign. Tried on some dresses. She's going for the strapless/tea length style in buttery yellow, essentially. Something I discovered while trying on said dresses: I am so sickly pinkish and pale. If I'm going to pull off light yellow, I've got to get bronzed. Otherwise, I'm going to be transparent in it. Anyway, we then headed off for lunch at Panera (Mmmm...paninis and potato soup) for lunch and then Ducky's bridal - where they didn't have shit for dresses, for the most part.
I don't think Kelly really settled on any one in particular, there were a couple she seemed to like. Me, I'll wear whatever she picks out. I'm more concerned about my accessories (shoes, jewelry, etc.) and hair.
Speaking of Kelly's wedding, Tyler has taken on the duty of being my date. We shall literally drink and dance the night away.
