I spent the better part of this week watching soaps with my sick granny. I went grocery shopping for her, paid some bills, and kept her company.
I love my almost routine, mid-week trips to Mississippi. This week I went to this trashy grocery store, that I remember from my childhood and hadn't been to since. The first place my eyes darted to was the cement floor, because I remember it used to be COVERED in cigarrette butts left there by smoking shoppers! The place has since converted to a non-smoking facility, but it's still pretty nasty in there. I drove a little further to Wal-Mart for more sterile groceries.
Now I'm back in TN, wondering which movie I'm gonna rent tonight.
